Luiza Grazziotin has a varied work experience in the field of healthcare research and analysis. Luiza currently works as a Health Economist at CADTH since 2022. Prior to that, they were involved in research roles at the University of Calgary, starting as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2016 to 2022. In 2019, Luiza also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they communicated with students, graded assignments, and taught course modules.
Before their time at the University of Calgary, Luiza was a Research Associate at HCPA - Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre from 2015 to 2016. Luiza also authored and co-authored several manuscripts and received awards and scholarships for their work.

Luiza Grazziotin has a diverse education history. Luiza began their academic journey in 2007 and completed their Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in 2012. Afterward, they pursued further specialization and completed a Master's Degree in Cardiovascular Science at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2013 to 2015.
In addition to their Master's Degree, Luiza Grazziotin also completed a Specialization Course in Health Technology Assessment at the same institution from 2014 to 2015. This course enhanced their expertise in evaluating the effectiveness, costs, and impacts of health technologies.
Continuing their academic pursuits, Grazziotin joined the University of Calgary in 2016 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health Economics. This program, which is expected to conclude in 2022, focuses on the economic aspects of healthcare and aims to deepen their understanding of the economic factors influencing health outcomes and policy decisions.
