Cherise Solomon is a seasoned marketing and development professional currently serving as the Marketing and Development Officer at Obsidian Theatre Company since October 2023. With extensive experience in the arts and dance sectors, Cherise has held multiple roles, including Studio Manager and Guest Dance Instructor at So Dance Studios, Digital Content and Marketing Assistant at Inner City Films, and Dance Instructor with Canada's National Ballet School. Cherise also contributed as the Assistant Festival Manager for StArt Youth Presenting Art and gained valuable insights as an Art Administrator for Lua Shayenne Dance Company. Educationally, Cherise holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Toronto Metropolitan University and an Ontario College Certificate from Centennial College in Communication and Media Foundations.
