Poly CHIM has a diverse range of work experience. They have held positions in various organizations, including Canadia Bank, where they served as the VP of the Digital Division. They were also a Senior Advisor at the Cambodia Digital Technology Association and a Founding Board Member of the Cambodia E-Business Association. Poly CHIM has co-founded two companies, Simple | Kambuja and LFB Trading Co., Ltd. In addition, they have experience as a Country Manager at MVL, Head of Marketing, Payment at Wing (Cambodia) Limited Specialised Bank, and a Country Marketing Manager at Uber. They have also worked at Cellcard (CamGSM Co. Ltd.) as the Head of Rewards and Innovations and as a Consumer Segment Marketing Manager. Poly CHIM began their career as an MBA Consultant at AUSTRALIAN SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENTS PTY LTD.

Poly CHIM completed a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from The Australian National University in 2013-2014. In 2017, they received training in Strategic Leadership from Harvard Business School Online. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business English from Cambodian Mekong University (CMU) in 2006-2010 and another Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from Moscow careers in 2006-2009. They also achieved a Master of Business Administration (Merit) from The Australian National University. However, the month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
