Tim Abbott

Tim Abbott is a highly experienced professional in corporate security and emergency management, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at CATSA / ACSTA since July 2022. With a career spanning two decades in the Canadian Armed Forces, Tim held numerous leadership roles including National Command and Control Support Service Second-in-Command and Deputy Commanding Officer for OUTCAN Operations and Plans. Tim's extensive military background includes various command and training positions, contributing to operational effectiveness within multiple brigade and regiment roles. Academically, Tim holds a Master of Arts in Disaster and Emergency Management from Royal Roads University, a Master of Arts in International Relations and Conflict Resolution from American Military University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Military and Strategic Studies from the Royal Military College of Canada.
