Kamran Geramy

Vice President, Information Technology at Canadian Bearings

Kamran Geramy has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kamran recently served as the Vice President of Information Technology at Canadian Bearings, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of IT and Digital Solutions at the same company, from December 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Canadian Bearings, Kamran held a managerial position at Butane Industrial Group as the Director of Service Engineering, where they established the Service Engineering department and developed training workshops for residential AC unit installation and repair. Kamran worked at Butane Industrial Group from September 2000 to June 2006.

In addition, Kamran has experience as the Director of Production & Planning at Pars Steel Automotive, where they managed production and assembly lines, systemized production planning and reporting systems, and improved the welding line. Kamran worked at Pars Steel Automotive from 1998 to 2000.

Furthermore, Kamran served as the Production Engineering Manager at TAC, a manufacturer of commercial and industrial air-conditioners and heat exchangers. In this role, they developed the production planning process and implemented product quality control systems and procedures. Kamran worked at TAC from 1993 to 1997.

Kamran Geramy completed their education in Industrial Engineering with a focus on System Analysis. Kamran obtained a BESc degree in Industrial Engineering - System Analysis from TAU, starting in 1989 and finishing in 1993. Following this, they pursued further studies and earned a MESc degree in Industrial Engineering - System Analysis / Operation Research from TAU, starting in 1993 and completing it in 1997.

In addition to their degrees, Kamran Geramy has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include "Microsoft Planner Essential Training" and "Prioritizing Effectively as a Leader" from LinkedIn, which they obtained in April 2023. Kamran also completed "Learning Microsoft 365 (Office 365)" from LinkedIn in August 2022 and "Agile Foundations" from LinkedIn in January 2022.

Prior to these recent certifications, Kamran Geramy completed the "Humanizing the Coaching Experience Program" from CSPN - Customer Service Professionals Network in June 2019. In September 2015, they received training in "The Change Leader's Roadmap Navigator School User Training" and "The Change Leader's Roadmap Leading Transformation" from Being First, Inc. Furthermore, they obtained a "Microsoft Project Certification" from Nexient Learning Canada Inc. in April 2007.
