Christina Davies

Christina Davies has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Project Management Lead at Canadian Blood Services since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Desktop Publisher/Graphic Designer as a freelancer since January 2010. From May 2019 to May 2023, they served as a Production Coordinator at Can Centre on Substance Use and Addiction / Centre can sur les dépendances et l’usage de substances. Christina also had a long tenure at TV Media Inc, starting as a Paginator from September 2009 to June 2011 and later becoming the Pagination Coordinator from June 2011 to May 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Professor in Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from January 2018 to October 2018, instructing the News Design I course. Christina also gained experience as an Instructor at Camp Tech Inc from February 2016 to February 2018, teaching beginner InDesign techniques. Christina began their professional career as a Researcher at Ottawa Business Journal from September 2006 to September 2009, and as a Freelance writer at TC Transcontinental from July 2005 to September 2006.

Christina Davies has a Diploma in Journalism from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. In addition, they have obtained various certifications throughout the years, including Excel Essential Training, Developing Your Emotional Intelligence, Project Leadership, Being a Mindful Employee, Business Process Improvement, Adobe Certified Expert - InDesign CC 2015, Writing Killer Web Content, and WordPress for Beginners.
