Isabelle Girard

Isabelle Girard is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications for Quebec at the Société canadienne du cancer since June 2023. With a rich background spanning over two decades, Isabelle has held significant positions including leading strategic communications and media relations at the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) and directing communications and marketing at CATALIS, a non-profit organization focused on early-stage clinical research. Previous roles include senior communications advisor at the Centre de recherche du CHUM, journalist at Radio-Canada, and various positions in communications and content management across several media organizations. Isabelle holds a D.E.S.S. in marketing communications from HEC Montréal, a journalism certificate from Université Laval, and a Bachelor's degree in biology from the same institution, complemented by recent training in team management at ENAP.
