Julia Poletto-Tiley

Julia Poletto-Tiley is an accomplished professional with a strong background in community engagement and fundraising. Currently serving as a Supporter Engagement Specialist at the Canadian Cancer Society since March 2021, Julia previously worked in roles that included Community Fundraising Specialist and Coordinator of Community Fundraising at the same organization and Heart and Stroke, respectively. Julia's experience also includes serving as a Workforce Specialist at JVS Toronto, where the focus was on empowering jobseekers and connecting them with job opportunities. Additionally, Julia coordinated events and communication strategies to enhance community engagement as the Event & Communications Coordinator for the Orangeville BIA. Julia’s commitment to social justice and human rights began during time spent as an activist and fundraiser for the Carleton University Human Rights Society. Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights from Carleton University.
