Valérie Taillon

Valérie Taillon is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in bilingual communications and public relations. Currently serving as the Gestionnaire, communications for the Société canadienne du cancer since July 2023, Valérie previously held the position of National Manager, bilingual communications at the Canadian Mental Health Association from June 2018 to September 2022. Additional experience includes serving as the Coordonnatrice des communications francophones at ParticipACTION and interning in media relations at the Centre jeunesse de Montréal - Institut universitaire. Valérie holds a Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Communication Management from McGill University, a Bachelor's in Communication and Political Science from Université libre de Bruxelles, and another Bachelor's in Communication, Politics, and Society from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal. Valérie also completed Project Management training in preparation for the PMP certification in 2021.
