Annamarie Sasagawa

Annamarie Sasagawa is the Vice-Chair at Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan. Annamarie has over 15 years of experience working in corporate culture and strategy.

Annamarie started their career at Kao Corporation, where they developed and managed global programs to strengthen a values-driven corporate culture aligned around the company's global growth strategy. Annamarie then moved to Insight Ten, where they oversaw a diverse portfolio of projects focused on advancing brands in the Japanese market.

In their current role, they are responsible for driving the Chamber's initiatives forward and ensuring its members' voices are heard.

Annamarie Sasagawa is currently a PhD candidate in Anthropology at The University of Tokyo. Annamarie holds a Master of Arts in Environment from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and English from the University of Victoria. Annamarie is also certified from the Japan Corporate Governance Network in Corporate Governance Study Group.
