Amy O'Brien

Amy O'Brien has extensive experience in governance and member engagement within the health sector. Currently serving as the Director of Governance and Member Engagement at the Canadian College of Health Leaders since September 2011, O'Brien has held several roles including Director and Manager in various capacities focused on Chapter and Member Engagement. Prior to this, O'Brien worked as a Public Relations Coordinator at Contact Centre Canada, where responsibilities included managing membership databases, planning events, and creating marketing materials. O'Brien's earlier positions included Communications Assistant roles at SEVEC and VON Canada, contributing to fundraising efforts and media communication. O'Brien holds a degree in English and Women's Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University and a diploma in Public Relations from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
