Director Of National Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement at Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association

Lindsey Thomson is an accomplished mental health professional with a diverse background in psychotherapy and clinical supervision. Currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs for the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and a Clinical Consultant at The Royal Mental Health Centre, Lindsey also founded Momentum Mindset to provide individual training for registered psychotherapists, social workers, and counselors in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy skills. Previous roles include Clinical Supervisor at Saint Paul's University, Clinical Coordinator for the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program at St. Joe's Health Care Group, and Senior Therapist at Family Services Ottawa. With a Master's in Counselling Psychology and additional qualifications in clinical supervision, Lindsey specializes in mental health training, policy consultation, and providing psychotherapy services to a range of clients, particularly young professionals and students.
