John Paizs

John Paizs has worked as a Director in Residence at the Canadian Film Centre since 2000. Before that, they worked as a Freelance Director at Northern Pictures Corp. starting from 1990. From 1980 to 1986, they worked as a Director/Producer/Writer at Favorite Pictures.

John Paizs attended the University of Manitoba from 1977 to 1980, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Painting and Photography.
