Cathy Watson

Cathy Watson is a seasoned nursing professional with extensive experience in various roles within healthcare. Currently serving as a Registered Nurse in Occupational Health & Wellness at The Ottawa Hospital since February 2021, Cathy also teaches an online Perioperative Program at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. Previously, Cathy held key managerial positions at The Ottawa Hospital, leading Surgical Suites and overseeing multiple clinical areas, including Operating Room, PACU, and Day Surgery. Additional leadership experience includes a role as Chief Nursing Officer at Kemptville District Hospital and nurse management positions at Queensway Carleton Hospital and Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa and a Nursing Diploma from St. Lawrence College.
