Jamie Nicoll

Jamie Nicoll has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. They are currently the Senior Director of Business Development and Growth at Canadian Health Labs, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, Jamie served as a Board of Directors member at DIFFER Communications starting from January 2022.

In 2012, Jamie founded Debenti, a platform that focuses on financing and acquiring companies in both the public and private markets. Before that, they held the title of Executive Vice President at ViveRE Communities Inc. from April 2016 to May 2021, where they specialized in acquiring and managing multi-family residential real estate with a focus on naturally occurring retirement communities.

Jamie also has experience as an Advisor at Navigator, a company that developed a social media monitoring tool for law enforcement and academia. They served in this role between January 2015 and July 2017. Prior to that, Jamie held the position of CEO at Canasur Gold Limited, actively exploring for gold in Suriname, South America from September 2014 to September 2016.

Before venturing into these roles, Jamie worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for a decade starting from November 2002 as a Vice President specializing in private debt and equity for growth companies. They also have experience as a Director at the New England Canada Business Council, where they promoted business and social ties between Canada and New England, particularly in the energy sector.

Additionally, Jamie served as a Director at Antigonish Abattoir Ltd, a federally inspected producer of pork products, and at Yorkton Securities, where they assisted companies in raising capital.

Jamie Nicoll has attended Dalhousie University, Saint Mary's University, and TSX Venture Exchange, although no specific degrees or fields of study are provided for any of these institutions.
