Anne Shoup

Anne Shoup currently serves as Vice President of Advancement at CIFAR, a position held since June 2024. Previously, Anne was the Associate Vice President for University Advancement at Michigan State University from June 2020 to June 2024. Prior to that, Anne worked at the University of Colorado Boulder from July 2015 to May 2020, where roles included Associate Vice Chancellor for Advancement - Principal Gifts and Assistant Dean for Advancement in the College of Engineering & Applied Science. Anne also served as Director of Leadership Giving at The Climate Reality Project from May 2014 to July 2015, and as Director of Charitable Giving at Leelanau Conservancy from February 2006 to May 2014. Anne holds a degree as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) from Princeton University.
