Danilo Bzdok

Danilo Bzdok serves as the Managing Director of Research Programs at IVADO since October 2023, overseeing the research activities of over 300 university professors in artificial intelligence and its applications. Additionally, Danilo holds the position of Associate Professor at McGill University and is an Appointed Faculty member at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, along with being a CIFAR fellow in 'AI for Health' as part of the Pan-Canadian AI Strategy. Prior to these roles, Danilo worked as an Assistant Professor at RWTH Aachen University and completed postdoctoral research at INRIA Saclay/Neurospin Paris and Research Center Jülich. Danilo earned a PhD in computer science from the University of Düsseldorf and a PhD in cognitive neuroscience from RWTH Aachen, alongside engagements at various prestigious institutions including Harvard Medical School.
