Antony Kent

Antony Kent CPA currently serves as the Executive Director of Finance at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) since March 2024. Prior to this role, Antony held the position of Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) from October 2017 to March 2024 and at Brookfield Renewable from November 2015 to October 2017. Antony's experience also includes various roles at Canadian Blood Services from February 2009 to November 2015, including Director of Financial Accounting, as well as Management and Senior Financial Accountant positions. Earlier in Antony's career, experience includes working as a Senior Financial Analyst/Finance Supervisor at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP and as a Senior Accountant at KPMG in Canada. Antony began a career in business at Deloitte while completing studies as a CA student and earned a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol, with additional coursework at Universität Trier.
