Chantal Poirier

As director of Finance, Chantal Poirier is responsible for providing vision, leadership and direction in formulating strategies, programs, policies and procedures relating to CIHI’s financial affairs. She is also responsible for ensuring that CIHI’s finances are managed in accordance with legislation, funding agreements, policies and procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles. In addition, she coordinates activities that are related to CIHI’s Finance and Audit Committee.

Ms. Poirier joined CIHI in 1997 and was appointed director of Finance in 2014. She is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and holds a bachelor in accounting sciences from the University of Quebec in Outaouais.
