Martin Wright

Mr. Martin Wright is 1 of 2 members representing British Columbia on CIHI’s Board of Directors. Mr. Wright was appointed assistant deputy minister for Health Sector Information, Analysis and Reporting, B.C. Ministry of Health, on November 19, 2018.

Most of Mr. Wright’s 2 decades of experience in the B.C. Public Service have been spent leading analytics teams focused on influencing organizational strategy and operations and, ultimately, client outcomes.

Mr. Wright joined the BC Ministry of Health from the B.C. Ministry of Children and Family Development, where he led a team recognized nationally for excellence in analytics in the social sector. He has also worked in similar roles in the B.C. Ministry of Health and in the Office of the Premier.

Mr. Wright has an MSc in economics from the University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom.
