Katarina Dedovic, Ph.D., currently serves as the Competition Lead for the Project Scheme within the Research, Knowledge Translation and Ethics Portfolio at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since August 2016. Previously, Katarina held positions as a Research Associate at the Institut universitaire en santé mentale Douglas and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCLA, where notable contributions included establishing international collaborations and coordinating research projects on the impacts of social rejection. Teaching experience includes serving as a Sessional Lecturer in Human Neurophysiology, along with a diverse teaching portfolio developed while acting as a teaching assistant, peer mentor, and guest lecturer during doctoral studies at McGill University. Katarina's academic credentials include a PhD in Integrated Program in Neurosciences and a strong background in conducting innovative research, coupled with freelance manuscript editing experience.
