Manon Lechasseur-Henderson has extensive experience in strategic communications and public affairs, currently serving as Deputy Director of Strategic Communications at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since December 2004. Lechasseur-Henderson also held the positions of Acting Director General of Communications and Senior Public Affairs Advisor for Issues Management during tenure at the same organization. Previous roles include Communications Advisor in media relations at the National Research Council Canada from November 2003 to December 2004, and Senior Communications Advisor for the Global Case Management System at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada from 2001 to November 2003. Lechasseur-Henderson’s career began in communications at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency in 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Integrated Studies from Athabasca University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology-Anthropology from Carleton University.
