Oyin Popoola is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in global health, policy analysis, and program management. Currently serving as the Senior Partnership Lead in Strategic Partnerships and International Relations at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since December 2021, Oyin previously held positions at Global Affairs Canada and the International Development Research Centre, where notable contributions included gender mainstreaming and research ethics. With a solid foundation in global health policy from roles at the Center for Public Policy Alternatives and Afri-Dev Foundation, Oyin has demonstrated expertise in leading health initiatives, fostering international collaboration, and managing significant funding projects. Oyin holds a Master’s degree in Science, Society and Development from the Institute of Development Studies, along with various certificates from esteemed institutions such as Johns Hopkins University and the University of Ottawa.
