Shannon Cobb

Shannon Cobb is an experienced professional in science policy and communications, currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Knowledge Mobilization Strategies at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since December 2021. Prior roles at CIHR included Science Policy Advisor, as well as a significant tenure at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, where Shannon held various positions from Policy Analyst to Communications Officer over nearly two decades. Shannon's background encompasses roles in several governmental and non-governmental organizations, including senior writing and editing positions with the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and no less than eight roles focusing on communications within Industry Canada. Shannon Cobb holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Dalhousie University.
