Brent Lessard

Brent Lessard is an experienced managing director at Canadian International Ventures since June 2023, following a successful tenure as director of programs and operations at the Venture Development Institute where support was provided to over 180 companies and more than 20,000 hours of mentorship were delivered. Lessard also served as director of programs and operations at Richmond West Corporation, a corporate advisory firm, helping entrepreneurs scale globally. Previous roles include chief innovation officer at Arrivo and co-founder/project manager at rLoop Incorporated. Early career experience includes technical coordinator and technical sales at International Leak Detection. Brent Lessard holds an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Durham College and additional education in motorcycle mechanics from Centennial College.
