Mehdi Kouhestaninejad is a national representative at the Canadian Labour Congress, responsible for planning and coordinating the implementation of policies, programs, and campaigns at regional and community levels. With experience as a representative since 2005, Kouhestaninejad contributes to the voice of 3.3 million Canadian workers and collaborates with various labour organizations and social justice partners. Prior leadership roles include serving as president of CUPE Local 3261 at the University of Toronto and holding positions within CUPE District Council and CUPE Ontario.
