Heather Platt has extensive experience in development programs and international governance, currently serving as the Director of Development Programs at Canadian Lutheran World Relief since February 2014. Prior to this role, Heather held the position of Program Manager and was an intern at Amnesty International from September 2013 to January 2014. Heather's career began at the Centre for International Governance Innovation as a Graduate Research Fellow and included roles at Canadian Lutheran World Relief as a Program Officer and at Lutheran World Federation as a Program Assistant for Operations and an intern for Humanitarian Affairs. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Global Governance and Human Rights from the University of Waterloo (2013-2014) and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Western University (2006-2009).
