Canadian Media Producers Association
Rob is responsible for the financial stewardship of the CMPA.
Rob oversees the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including the design and implementation of appropriate internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to key stakeholders.
Prior to joining the CMPA, Rob was a chief financial officer at Shepherds of Good Hope. Before this, he was the chief financial officer for Seprotech Systems Inc.; he also spent 16 years with Asea Brown Boveri Inc. (ABB) in Ottawa and Vancouver in progressively responsible positions.
Rob is a graduate of Algonquin College’s three-year business administration program, and he attained his CPA-CGA designation in 1987.
Rob’s favorite Canadian TV show is Dragons’ Den, as it allows budding entrepreneurs to introduce new products or services to the market. When it’s time to kick back, Schitt’s Creek also provides great entertainment.
