Shayne Wong

Shayne Wong is an accomplished researcher and advocate with extensive experience in human rights, peace, and conflict studies. Currently serving as a Researcher, Gallery Host, and Box Office Agent at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights since October 2019, Shayne also contributes to the Canadian Mennonite University as a Research Assistant for the Hearts of Freedom exhibition. As a Co-Founder and Steering Committee Member at the Canadian Coalition for Youth, Peace & Security, Shayne chairs both Internal Engagement and Partnerships initiatives. Previously, Shayne held several roles at ISOKO Partners for Peace and Gender Equality, including Youth Engagement & Communications Director. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Manitoba and a Master of Arts in the same field, with earlier studies at The University of Winnipeg in Human Rights and Conflict Resolution.
