Thibaut L.

Thibaut L. is an AI Research Engineer at Mistral AI since June 2023, previously holding the same title at Meta within the FAIR team from February 2019 to June 2023, where contributions included working on LLMs such as Llama and Llama 2, theorem proving, and the Open Catalyst Project. Prior to this, Thibaut served as a Team Lead and Machine Learning Engineer at Snips from September 2015 to December 2018, focusing on keyword spotting and deep learning research for NLU and Speech Recognition applications. Thibaut has also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Intel Parallel Computing Center at UFRJ, contributed to a high-performance computing project, and developed a machine-learning algorithm for energy disaggregation at GreenAnt. Early experiences include a researcher internship in photovoltaics at Nanyang Technological University and logistics officer training with the Marine Nationale. Thibaut holds an Engineer's degree in Physics & Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique and a Master of Science in Scientific Computing from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
