Alain Dussault

Alain Dussault is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance and securities law. Currently serving as Senior Counsel, Governance and Securities at CN since November 2022, Dussault previously held the position of Director Legal Services and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Intact from September 2021 to November 2022. Dussault's prior roles at CN included legal support in the Corporate Secretary's Office focusing on corporate governance and securities law from September 2014 to September 2021. Other notable experiences include serving as Assistant General Counsel at Bell for over 12 years, where Dussault contributed to procurement, M&A, and corporate governance practices, and held various roles at McCarthy Tétrault, specializing in M&A and corporate finance. Dussault began a career in public service as a Naval Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. Educational qualifications include a Law degree from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Royal Military College.
