Joan Kennedy

Joan Kennedy, CHRL, is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the Senior Benefits Manager at CN since October 2022. Prior to this role, Joan held various positions at the University of Waterloo from December 2013 to October 2022, including Manager, Benefits and Compensation and Benefits Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing benefit management, salary administration, and compliance with policies. Previously, Joan worked at Challenger Motor Freight Inc. as a Human Resources Generalist, focusing on talent management, employee relations, and corporate benefits analysis. Joan holds a Diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor’s degree in History and English Literature from Trent University.
