Craig Drevant

Craig Drevant, P.Tech(Eng), has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Craig has served as the Shift Team Lead - Plant Maintenance - Electrical & Instrumentation at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) since 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Shell as a Maintenance Coordinator Plant Maintenance from 2009 to 2017. From 2009 to 2012, they held the role of Electrical & Instrumentation Team Lead - Froth at Shell Albian Sands Energy, where they were responsible for coordination and integration of projects. Before that, they worked at NOVA Chemicals as an IC&E Specialist - E3 in 2008. Craig has also gained experience as an E&I Supervisor at Catalyst Paper from 2000 to 2008, where they provided technical leadership and supervision for electrical and instrumentation tradespeople. Additionally, they worked as an Electrical Technologist at Nyrstar - Myra Falls from 1996 to 2000, overseeing electrical and controls maintenance and managing power systems. Craig'searlier experience includes working as an Electrical Technologist at Unit Electrical Engineering from 1994 to 1996, where they focused on design, construction supervision, and commissioning of electrical and control systems. Craig started their career at Leeson Electric as Controls & Inside Sales from 1990 to 1992.

Craig Drevant, P.Tech(Eng), has a Technologist degree in Electrical Power and Control (Honours) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, obtained between 1992 and 1994. Craig also holds a certification of P.Tech.(Eng.) from ASET.
