Kim Layug is an accomplished accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the Haskayne School of Business, obtained in 2020. Currently, at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) since September 2018, Kim serves as an Accountant in the PA Financial Services sector, playing a key role in the rollout of a new system for automating trucking expense allocation, which involved testing, troubleshooting, and training over 60 accountants. Prior experience includes a property accountant co-op at CNRL, a marketing director position at World Financial Group, and various accounting roles at The Brenda Strafford Foundation. Kim has also developed valuable teamwork and event management skills through positions at the University of Calgary's Students' Union and an internship role at 3D-P. Starting the professional journey as a crew member at Tim Hortons, Kim has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in service and accounting functions.
