Nicholas Leibel

Nicholas Leibel is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Canadian Natural Resources Limited since May 2023, Nicholas oversees a variety of projects within the Sustaining Capital group, focusing on the Albian Sands facility. In addition, Nicholas is the Director of H.N. Leibel Consulting Inc., a firm dedicated to pursuing engineering challenges across different sectors. Previous roles include Project Engineer at Tetra Tech, where multidisciplinary projects in the energy industry were managed, and Senior Project Engineer/Manager at Rangeland Engineering, responsible for project estimation and team management. Nicholas began the career at WSP Oil & Gas, progressing through roles from EIT to Project Manager. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alberta.
