Richard Swabey

Richard Swabey is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist in Operations at Canadian Natural Resources Limited since May 2023, Richard has held various roles throughout a career that includes consultancy as a Wellsite Geologist and Managing Director at SwabLog Limited from September 2014 to May 2023, as well as previous positions at HRH Geological Services, Weatherford, International Logging, and Datalog Technology. Richard's expertise encompasses wellsite geology, drilling optimization, and HSE advisory roles across multiple regions, supported by a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from the University of Plymouth and early education at Plymouth College.
