Walter Lemay

Walter LeMay is an experienced aviation professional with over 35 years in the field. Currently serving as the Chief Pilot for ATR at Canadian North since May 2015, Walter has previously held significant roles including Chief Pilot for Hercules Operation at First Air from July 2002 to May 2015, and Herc Pilot at NWT Air and First Air from August 1995 to July 2002. Earlier in the career, Walter was Chief Pilot and Pilot at Ptarmigan Airways from December 1988 to August 1995, operating various aircraft such as the DHC2III and DHC6 in multiple configurations. Walter's foundational experience includes piloting aircraft including the C185, DHC2, and DHC3 at Central Air Transport, Kelner Airways, and Sportsmen Airways from September 1985 to November 1988.
