James Topping

James Topping is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in the nuclear and construction sectors. Currently serving as a Procurement Specialist at Candu Energy Inc. since May 2013, James has held multiple leadership roles, including Deputy Procurement Manager and Procurement Lead for the Darlington RFR project. In addition, James has been on secondment at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories as the Manager of Contractor Management in Construction & Operations. Prior to these roles, James worked at SNC-Lavalin from 2006 to 2013, progressing from Buyer to Purchasing Manager, and implementing procurement strategies and policies. James began a career in procurement with AMEC as a Desktop Support Technician before obtaining relevant training from St. Laurence College.
