Allie Burke

Allie Burke serves as the Manager of Governance & Operations for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since August 2023, overseeing governance practices and Board management. Previously, Allie held various leadership positions at the Ottawa Humane Society from 2012 to 2023, including Director of Outreach & Community Services, where responsibilities encompassed the management of approximately 30 public programs. Additional roles included oversight of communications, marketing, and volunteer management, with experience in program development and strategic planning. Allie's earlier career includes roles in recreational programming, education, and administrative support, complemented by an Honors Bachelor of Social Science degree from the University of Ottawa, specializing in Sociology with a minor in Gerontology.
