Paula Ospina

Paula Ospina is a highly experienced professional in the field of rehabilitation science with a focus on pediatric oncology. Currently serving as the Research Lead for the IPT HOPE Pediatric Oncology Special Interest Group at World Physiotherapy since March 2023, Paula also holds the position of Knowledge Translation Support for the Oncology Division at the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since September 2019. In addition to these roles, Paula has significant academic experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Alberta, where ongoing doctoral studies in Rehabilitation Science are being pursued. With practical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant at the Cross Cancer Institute and previous roles in physical and respiratory therapy, Paula has a comprehensive background in both research and clinical practice. Paula holds a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and Universidad del Rosario, respectively.
