Beatrice Lall serves as the Manager of Broadband at CRTC since April 2019, overseeing the preparation of documentation and tools for evaluating applications for the National Broadband Fund aimed at enhancing high-speed internet access in rural and remote areas of Canada. This role includes managing a team responsible for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring applications, as well as making funding recommendations. Prior to this position, Beatrice held the role of Manager in the Connecting Canadians Branch at Innovation, Science and Economic Development from April 2017 to March 2019. Beatrice holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Victoria, with a focus on French and Spanish in International Business, completed between 1986 and 1998.
