Julia Hajjar is currently a CIHR Health Systems Impact Doctoral Fellow and Mitacs Accelerate Doctoral Fellow at the Canadian Red Cross, with a part-time professor position at the University of Ottawa Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences since September 2023. Julia has been serving as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since March 2019 and has held roles as a Clinical Research Assistant there. Julia is a PhD candidate in Population Health at the University of Ottawa and has extensive teaching experience as a bilingual teaching assistant for undergraduate courses in Health Sciences. Additionally, Julia's research includes investigating sex differences in rat pups exposed to endocrine disrupting chemicals during gestation and lactation. Other roles include Clinical Research Coordinator at Hôpital Montfort from May 2023 to September 2024 and Inpatient Clerk at The Ottawa Hospital from September 2016 to September 2019. Julia holds a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Biology and Psychology from Loyola University Maryland.
