Rocco Acocella

Italian Language Acquisition Teacher at Canadian School of Milan

Rocco Acocella is an experienced educator specializing in Italian language acquisition, currently serving as an Italian Language Acquisition Teacher at the Canadian School of Milan since November 2023. Previously, Rocco worked as an Italian Teacher at Lycée Franco-Hellénique Eugène Delacroix in Athens in early 2021, where Rocco implemented a personalized-learning project utilizing psychometric pre-tests, direct lessons in a multicultural setting, and thorough data analysis for feedback. In June 2020, Rocco also taught Italian at Dolce Stilnovo School, focusing on direct teaching techniques with a small group of A1 level students. Rocco holds a Master of Arts in Creativity and Innovation from the University of Malta and has advanced degrees in Italian Language and Culture Teaching from Università Ca'​ Foscari Venezia, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural and Inter-linguistic Mediation from Università degli Studi dell'Insubria.
