Michael Donaldson

Director Of Strategic Initiatives at Canadian Science Publishing

Michael Donaldson is an accomplished science editor with extensive experience in the field of biological sciences and environmental research. Since October 2011, Michael has served as Science Editor at Fisheries, focusing on various topics including climate change, migration biology, and conservation physiology. In addition, from November 2014, Michael has held multiple roles at Canadian Science Publishing, including Director of Strategic Initiatives and Managing Editor for the Physical Sciences+ journal group, where responsibilities include enhancing content development strategies to improve the quality of scientific submissions. Michael's academic background features a Ph.D. in Forestry from The University of British Columbia and notable post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and The University of British Columbia, where research centered on invasive species and fish physiology.
