Waqas Hameed

Waqas Hameed is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience at Canadian Tire Corporation since April 2007, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Finance and FP&A. Hameed has held various roles within the organization, focusing on Financial Planning and Analysis, corporate performance reporting, and strategic planning across multiple business areas, including retail and real estate. Prior to Canadian Tire, Waqas worked at KPMG as a Senior Staff Accountant. Waqas holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Accounting from McGill University and has completed the Oxford Strategic Leadership Program, as well as executive education at Kellogg and the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. Waqas is also a designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) from CPA Canada.
