John Molberg

John Molberg has extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industry. John started their career in 2000 at CDL Systems Ltd., where they served as a Senior Systems Engineer until 2012. During their time at CDL Systems, they worked on software control systems for unmanned vehicle applications and managed software development projects.

In 2012, John joined Lockheed Martin Canada after CDL Systems was acquired by the company. At Lockheed Martin, they worked as a Systems Architect, focusing on product design and collaborating with new and potential customers to develop solutions using various technologies. John also served as a Business Development Manager at Lockheed Martin from 2014 to 2018, responsible for business outreach and development for Canada and Global Markets.

Aside from their work in the aerospace and defense industry, John also had experience in political campaign management. John acted as the Campaign Manager for Happy Mann during the 2012 and 2015 Provincial Elections for the Wildrose Alliance Party.

In 2019, John joined Canadian UAVs as the Vice President. John played a crucial role in the company's rapid growth, operating UAVs as a service for both commercial and military customers. John focused on developing and applying new technology and aviation-grade processes for safe and cost-effective aerial surveillance.

Outside of their professional career, John volunteered with Landmark Education as an Introduction Leader since 2008. John assisted individuals in clarifying their interests and achieving breakthroughs in various areas of their lives.

John Molberg attended the DeVry Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. In addition to their degree, John has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. John became a Certified Canadian UAV Pilot in July 2015 through the Government of Canada. In October 2012, they obtained the Professional Technologist (Engineering) certification from ASET. Furthermore, in March 1992, John obtained an Amateur Radio License through Industry Canada.
