Carlos Capurro currently serves as a National Representative and Member Facilitator for the Canadian Union of Public Employees since December 2017, with a focus on advocacy for injured workers in Ontario. Prior to this role, Carlos held various positions within the Toronto District School Board and Conseil scolaire Viamonde, including Disability Management Specialist, where assistance was provided to 15,000 members in navigating WSIB, LTD, CPPD, and return-to-work processes. Additionally, Carlos has experience as an occasional teacher, caretaker, and union representative, as well as serving as a trustee for TEW/CUPE 4400. Carlos holds a Certificate in Labour Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and two Bachelor's Degrees from York University in Education.
