Gary Highley

Gary Highley has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Gary has held various management roles in companies such as GE, ABB, and Fanuc CNC America. In 2015, they served as the Chief Operations Officer at McKenzie Electric Cooperative, Inc. before becoming the CEO of Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative and CVEC Fiber, LLC in 2020. Recently, in 2022, they took on the role of Oklahoma State Director for the Selective Service System. Prior to their career in the private sector, Gary served as a Major in the US Army Corps of Engineers, with combat deployment to Iraq in 2004.

Gary Highley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from the University of Arkansas in 1994. Gary then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Management of Technology from Auburn University, which they completed in 2001.
