Roland Ngo

Roland Ngo's work experience includes serving as a Senior Analyst in Fund Investments at BDC since January 2023. Prior to that, they were a Data Committee Member at the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA) starting in September 2022. From January 2022 to January 2023, Roland worked as an Analyst at Novacap. Roland had an extensive tenure at BDC Capital from May 2018 to January 2022 in the role of Venture Capital. Roland also worked at Front Row Ventures as a Talent & Operations Manager from June 2021 to September 2021. Before entering the venture capital industry, they gained experience at BMO Financial Group as a Sr. Customer Service Representative from October 2016 to May 2018 and as an intern in Commercial Banking from September 2017 to April 2018. Roland began their career as a Sales Associate at Sport Chek from April 2016 to October 2016.

Roland Ngo completed their Bachelor of Economics Honours degree in Natural Resources & Environment Economics from Carleton University in 2020. After that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Finance from HEC Montréal, which they are expected to complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Roland obtained several certifications. In October 2020, they completed the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP. Later, in October 2021, they obtained the Financial & Valuation Modeling certification from Wall Street Prep. Roland'smost recent certification is the ILPA Institute: Private Equity for the Limited Partners, which they obtained from the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) in May 2023.
