Cassandra Tavukciyan is an experienced professional in collections management and digital archiving, currently serving as an Oral History Collections Specialist at the Canadian War Museum since December 2022. Previously, Cassandra held various roles at the Canadian Museum of History, including Specialist in Digital Collections Management and Acting Supervisor of Information Management. Other notable positions include Outreach & Digital Archive Officer and Digital Archive Assistant at the Multicultural History Society of Ontario, as well as roles at the University of Toronto Scarborough, The New York Public Library, and the Royal Ontario Museum. Cassandra holds a Master’s Degree in Film and Photography Preservation and Collections Management from Ryerson University and a BFA in Photography from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Additionally, experience includes time spent at the Edinburgh College of Art.
